Ambulance catches fire on I-79, causes significant traffic delays in Mercer County

GROVE CITY, Pa. — Traffic was slowed on I-79 after an out-of-use ambulance caught fire near Grove City.

The company that towed the burned out vehicle from the scene told Channel 11 the ambulance had been retired for a number of years.

There were no injuries reported by any of the occupants when it rolled over and caught fire.
