VANDERBILT, Pa. — The annual Tractor Ride for Children’s Hospital returned to Vanderbilt, Fayette County, on Saturday.
Now in its second year under new organizers, the event raises funds to benefit UPMC Children’s Hospital.
Michael and Marin Andrews took over after the previous organizers retired.
They tell us around 60 tractors were on hand Saturday, with around 300 people.
“We think it’s a fabulous event,” Marin Andrews said. “It’s a great opportunity for the community to get together. It raises money for a good cause. We want to see it continue.”
Last year’s tractor ride reportedly brought in $16,000.
