BRENTWOOD, Pa. — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Brentwood fast-food restaurant Sunday night.
Officials said the robber walked up to the drive-through window at the McDonald's on Brownsville Road about 8:30 p.m.
According to police, the window was partially open when the robber told the worker to give him money. After the robber showed a gun, the worker put $284 in cash inside an empty McDonald's bag, police said.
Authorities said the man ran across Brownsville Road and out of sight before police arrived.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 105 pounds.
McDonald’s customers were surprised to hear the news Monday.
“It’s just crazy. The world is crazy,” Rick Kearns said. “What people do today, nothing is shocking.”
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police.
