Arrest made after FBI, police serve warrant in Indiana Borough

INDIANA, Pa. — Police were out in force in Indiana Borough Thursday morning.

According to the Indiana Police Department, the officers and the FBI tried to serve a warrant in the 100 block of Water Street around 6 a.m.

At 7:03 a.m., the department said in a social media post that they were “still active” and that traffic would be shut down in the area.

By 10:27 a.m., police said a male suspect had been arrested, and the road had reopened.

Officers will remain in the area for some time, though the area is safe, police say.
