PITTSBURGH — University of Pittsburgh Police Department has made an arrest in connection with alleged sexual assaults.
Around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, a Pitt student reported she was grabbed on the buttocks by an unknown male, police said in a social media post.
She claimed it happened at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and South Bouquet Street.
About 15 minutes later, police say, officers arrested a male matching the suspect’s description in front of Schenley Plaza.
During the arrest, another person then told officers that she’d also been touched on her buttocks by the same person.
Police say the suspect is being held in the Allegheny County Jail. He has not been identified.
