WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Police are looking for a former Denny’s employee who was fired after reports of indecent exposure.
It happened at the Denny’s in West Mifflin on Lebanon Church Road.
“I’ll never eat there again. I promise you that,” one person said.
According to investigators, one of the Denny’s employees began inappropriately touching himself in the middle of the restaurant when three female customers sat down to eat.
His name is Zachary Hiles, and now there’s a warrant for his arrest.
When the women walked into the restaurant, police say Hiles made comments to them, then proceeded to sit in a chair in front of the bathroom where he could clearly see the victims. That’s when investigators say he began touching himself while staring at them.
Investigators said one of the victims was so traumatized that she ran out of the restaurant to her car.
Police showed up to the restaurant, and the investigating officer said, “after close consideration of Hiles’ actions, complete disregard for bystanders, and other potential victims at the Denny’s, it’s appropriate to apply for an arrest warrant.”
When officers got to the restaurant, the manager told them it was not the first time Hiles made inappropriate comments or done inappropriate things. He was fired from Denny’s.
So far, Hiles has not been taken into custody.
