BROOKLINE, Pa. — A recent attempted robbery at the Brookline Wendy's has people working nearby concerned.

The attempted robbery happened on West Liberty Avenue last month.

"It's kind of scary," said Matt Diulus, who works nearby.

According to police, three men rushed into the fast-food restaurant with bandanas over their heads while customers were eating.

Channel 11 learned through police paperwork that two of the men had guns.

Police said a cashier saw a gun, and yelled, "He's got a gun."  A robber yelled back, "Give me all the money," according to the report.

The men left the restaurant in a blue Dodge Avenger, police said.

"I don't know if the guys would hit up a place right up the road.  If they are going to rob another place maybe they would choose a different one," said Diulus

Police believe the men are between 17 and 23 years old.
