PITTSBURGH — People gathered for a night celebrating some of the men making a difference across the Pittsburgh region.

The “New Pittsburgh Courier” hosted its “Men of Excellence Awards” in Station Square on Friday.

The event recognizes 50 local men for their impact on the community and making strides in their fields, including media, business, community service and much more.

Channel 11’s Jatara Magee served as emcee.
