BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — A Beaver Falls High School teacher is facing charges after police said she was exchanging sexual text messages with a 16-year-old student.
Sarah Massa, 24, has been charged with corruption of minors and criminal use of a communication facility.
According to the criminal complaint, the allegations were ongoing for around two weeks at the beginning of June 2026.
Channel 11’s Christine D’Antonio is going through the complaint and will have more on Channel 11 News starting at 4 p.m.
The Big Beaver Falls Area School District released the following statement on Facebook regarding Massa’s charges:
“The Big Beaver Falls Area School District is aware of charges involving a district employee
“The District immediately took appropriate action, notified the proper authorities, and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation. The employee has been removed from duties involving students.
“The district will not tolerate any conduct that compromises the safety or well-being of students and will take all appropriate action consistent with the law and district policy.
“Because this is an active investigation and confidential personnel matter, the District cannot comment further.”
