BETHEL PARK, Pa.,None — Bethel Park residents got a chance to check out their new high school on Saturday.
Parents and students met in the school’s new auditorium for a dedication ceremony Saturday afternoon.
The school added an eight-lane swimming pool, a new gymnasium and 94 new classrooms.
Vicki Flotta, the district’s spokesperson said they spent six years planning the $88 million project.
“One of the things we did before we even broke ground was spend about two or three years discussing what this building should look like,” Flotta said.
This is the second renovation for the school. It underwent a $20 million renovation in 1996.
