PITTSBURGH — One of Pittsburgh’s biggest banks hosted Pennsylvania’s governor for a fireside chat with its New York-based CEO and a tour of its new downtown hub in the midst of renovations.
Talk ranged from downtown revitalization to local recruiting to artificial intelligence — topics that would be expected, plus something else that wasn’t widely known. The financial institution loaned artifacts to the governor’s residence in Harrisburg after an arsonist broke into the home and set multiple fires in April 2025.
BNY hosted Gov. Josh Shapiro at 500 Ross Street, its partially completed Pittsburgh regional hub, with Robin Vince, the financial institution’s chairman and CEO, on hand. The two also participated in a town hall.
