One man was flown to Allegheny General Hospital with a severe leg/ankle and head injury, and the other was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
Middlesex Township police have identified the man that was trapped as John Brown, and they believe he owns the garage.
Brown was already freed from the car when police arrived on the scene.
When the van fell, someone attached a chain to another car and used that to get him free, police say.
Investigators say the accident was reported at Brown's Garage in the 700 block of Meridian Road around 11 a.m.
