ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two people were taken to a local hospital after a multi-vehicle Wednesday on McKnight Road, Ross Township police said.
Authorities said six vehicles, three of which had to be towed from the scene, were involved in an accident around 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of McKnight Road and Browns Lane in Ross Township near a GetGo gas station.

Police said the driver that caused the crash told them that there may have been a mechanical failure with his vehicle.
The names and conditions of the people taken from the scene to a hospital were not released.
Ross Township police said they’re investigation continues, but at this point, they do not anticipate that any criminal charges will be filed.
