CHARTIERS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Bridgeville man is accused of driving under the influence with his son in this car when he crashed in Chartiers Township early Sunday morning. Police say Anthony Mulholland crashed his car into the Walden Woods Street sign, then drove onto private property and was walking around erratically. The homeowner called 911.
Investigators pulled over Mulholland a few minutes later after spotting his vehicle with front-end damage passing them.
According to the criminal complaint, the 8-year-old boy was in the back seat, visibly upset and crying. Officers say Mulholland slurred his speech, had glassy eyes and a strong odor of alcohol. They say he was incoherent when trying to respond to their questions and handed over his medical marijuana card when asked for his driver’s license.
Officers say his blood alcohol level was .204 at 3:41 a.m. when they administered the test. He told officers he and his son had come from a party and that he only had two beers.
