British Airways expanding its flight offering between Pittsburgh and London

British Airways is expanding its flight offerings between Pittsburgh International Airport and Heathrow Airport outside of London in what local officials are describing as a major win for the region’s aviation industry. BA’s decision to expand here comes just weeks after a delegation of Pittsburgh business and political officials traveled to London to pitch the region as a destination worthy of more flights between the two cities.

In 2019, BA first began offering four flights per week between Pittsburgh and London. That now increases to six flights per week, with a trip occurring every day of the week except Saturdays.

The first expanded flight offering will commence on April 24, 2023, and an additional expanded offering will begin less than a month later on May 14, 2023. BA currently flies between the two cities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
