BETHEL PARK, Pa. — A busy road in Bethel Park is closed because of a water main break.
The Bethel Park Police Department says Library Road (Route 88) is closed between Berryman Avenue and Clifton Road because of “a large water main break”
Police are not sure when the roadway will reopen.
In an alert, Pennsylvania American Water said its crews began making emergency repairs around 12:30 p.m. The company expects repairs will take until about 8:30 p.m. to complete.
Those impacted by the break may have discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or no water. Click here to see if you live within the affected area.
Once service is repaired, water may still be discolored. To fix this issue, run cold water at the lowest level of the house until the water runs clear.
