PITTSBURGH — One person was taken to a hospital after crashing their vehicle into a house in Pittsburgh.

Allegheny County dispatchers say police, firefighters and medics were sent to the 2100 block of Harbor Street in Spring Hill at around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Neighbors say the woman driving the car somehow came crashing down a hill and into the home.

The car appeared to roll over onto its roof during the crash.

Part of the roof of the home’s porch fell onto the vehicle.

She was rushed to the hospital.

Family members of the driver said she is 82 years old. They believe she was trying to back up her steep driveway and was in drive and not reverse. They say she is okay and does not have any broken bones.
