NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. — A home in North Huntington was heavily damaged after a car slammed through it in the middle of the night on Saturday.
According to our news partners at the Trib, the crash happened at 1 a.m. The driver took off from the scene.
Homeowner Teresa Monier told the Trib that she was sleeping when the car, which she believed to be a pickup truck, smashed through her front wall.
“Just to leave somebody’s house like that, it’s not right,” he said to the Trib. “You put a hole into somebody’s house.”
Her son, Ryan Monier, told the Trib they were lucky the house didn’t collapse.
The Trib reports that the driver was found by police less than 24 hours after the accident.
