Cause of deadly Mercer County house fire remains under investigation

GROVE CITY, Pa. — Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fatal house fire Monday morning in Mercer County.

Officials said massive flames engulfed the home on McConnell Street in Grove City just before 6 a.m.

Investigators said when the fire was extinguished, firefighters found the bodies of a man and woman in an upstairs bedroom of the house.

The victims' names haven’t been released.
