ADAMS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A crash shut down a Butler County road Thursday.
A Butler County 911 supervisor says the crash between a cement truck and a passenger vehicle was reported on Mars Evans City Road around 2:13 p.m.
One person was taken to the hospital from the scene, though it’s unclear which vehicle they were in, the supervisor says.
The Adams Township Police Department posted a photo on social media of the cement truck on its side and concrete spilled in the roadway.
As of 3 p.m., Mars Evans City Road was closed between Union Church Road and Myoma Road so crews could clear the scene.
Drivers were told to avoid the area, as the road would be closed “for a while.”
