TURTLE CREEK, Pa. — Police in Turtle Creek said a woman who tried to rob a convenience store was stopped by the owner and a clerk.
The woman, who was armed with a gun, walked into the 7-11 on James Street shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday. When she demanded money, the owner grabbed the gun and a clerk came from behind to wrestle her to the ground.

The pair held her there until police arrived.
The suspect was taken to the hospital before being transported to the Turtle Creek police station and later the Allegheny County Jail.
A woman with a gun robbed the same store Wednesday night. She got away with about $350 and cigarettes.
Police do not yet know if she is the same suspect who was arrested Friday.
