COLD CASE: Search continues for child last seen 34 years ago today

PITTSBURGH — Thursday marks 34 years to the day since Toni Mcnatt-Ciappetta was last seen.

According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, it’s believed that Toni left her home in Clairton on Nov. 5, 1981, and was headed to a pep rally at her school. She never made it.

Toni was last seen around 7 p.m. at Miller and Mitchell avenues. She was wearing a black Clairton Band jacket. Her name was inscribed on the front.

Toni's sister Lea, along with Pennsylvania State Police and The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children are all still actively searching for answers about what happened to Toni.
