PITTSBURGH — Officials from Port Authority Transit said T light rail service was delayed Friday morning due to a downed power line in the downtown Pittsburgh area.

All riders using the service were taken to the First Avenue Station, as rail cars were unable to travel beyond that point. Also, rail cars will travel from Allegheny Station on the North Shore as far as Wood Street Station in Downtown.

Repairs were complete by 2:30 p.m. Friday and service was restored to normal.
