Crash temporarily shuts down stretch of westbound Parkway West; 1 hospitalized

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A crash temporarily shut down a stretch of the westbound Parkway West on Thursday.

An Allegheny County 911 supervisor says the crash was reported at 12:15 p.m.

The westbound lanes were closed between the Ridge Road (Exit 61) and the West Route 22/Route 30/Weirton (Exit 60A) interchanges for about an hour.

PennDOT cameras showed multiple emergency vehicles in the area.

One person was taken to a hospital from the scene, the supervisor says.
