PITTSBURGH — A water main break left a big mess for people to clean up on Mount Washington overnight.
A spokesperson from Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority said a 12-inch line broke, leaving at least six homes without service on Kearsarge Street.
Channel 11 News was there late Tuesday night when the break first happened.
Neighbors said it was the third water main break in the area over the past few months.
"There was a break down the street. They fixed it. Then there was a break up here and they fixed that. All of a sudden here we are," said neighbor Pat Palmer.
People who have their cars parked on the street have been advised not to move their cars to keep debris from causing damages.
A contractor worked overnight to make the repairs. Water service was restored early Wednesday morning.
