PITTSBURGH — A local consignment shop is coming under fire after being accused of not fulfilling business contracts.
A Channel 11 viewer voiced her concerns and said weeks of waiting turned into months and, when she finally went to the store, everything was gone and a sign on the door said the business had left its location.

Eight months later, Marita Garret said she still doesn’t have her clothes or money after dropping them off at the consignment shop in Shadyside.
“On January 7th is when I brought the clothes in,” she said.
Channel 11 did some digging and found the business has an “F” rating with the Better Business Bureau.
A sign on the door of the business said it had closed its location after 18 years, but didn’t say it was going out of business.
Instead, it said customers would be notified about a new location.
“I had to come here to find this out,” Garret said. “The phone is disconnected. There is no way of contacting her.”
Garret said she was “very upset” and felt “ripped off” by the business.
Garret showed Channel 11 a receipt for when she dropped off 20 pieces of clothing and paid a $15 down payment.
She still hasn’t gotten her clothes or her money back and at this point remains frustrated with the whole incident.
“Just give me the clothes back,” she said. “I can donate them to a woman’s shelter, resource center, people who actually need them.”
Channel 11 hasn’t named the store because the owner of the shop hasn’t returned numerous requests for comment.
