None — PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Dollar Bank plans to have some automatic teller machines in the Pittsburgh-area that will show customers a live, interactive video teller.
According to Channel 11’s news exchange partners at TribLIVE, the bank announced Tuesday that it will debut the new machines this spring at some of its walk-up and drive-thru teller machines.
The bank said the technology will let customers see and speak with a live teller at times when the branch, where the ATM is located, is closed.
It was not immediately clear how many machines or branches might be involved.
The bank said the video teller technology is being developed by NCR Corp. and uGenius Technology, LLC.
