PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra announced today that “Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony” will take place at Heinz Hall on Jan. 26, 2027, at 7:30 p.m.
The multimedia performance features Parton on screen, guiding the audience on a visual and musical journey through her life, stories and career. The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will perform alongside guest vocalists and musicians, featuring orchestrations composed by David Hamilton.
The program will feature signature hits including “Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors” and “I Will Always Love You.” It will also include Parton’s personal favorite songs along with a selection from her upcoming Broadway musical.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available online through pittsburghsymphony.org or by calling the Heinz Hall Box Office at 412-392-4900.
The performance is a co-production of Dolly Parton, Schirmer Theatrical and Sony Music Publishing.
The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra has partnered with the Dollywood Foundation so that $1 from every ticket sold supports Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program that mails free books to children from birth to age 5.
