Sickles suffered multiple head wounds and was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital for treatment, the Valley Independent reported. He was later released.

A woman who rented the home with Sickles told police that Allen is her brother-in-law and the couple's landlord, according to the Valley Independent. She said an argument involving Allen, Byers and Sickles occurred earlier in the day at a picnic.

Allen and Byers are charged with burglary, harassment and disorderly conduct. Allen also faces an aggravated assault charge.
