CALIFORNIA, Pa. — The club hockey team at California University will now face random drug testing after police arrested two of the team members on drug charges.

The university said it’s cracking down on the club hockey team and will begin random drug testing on all players after Steven and Jesse Powell were arrested last month.

Investigators said the Powell brothers had more than nine pounds of marijuana at their off-campus apartment.

Police were first led to the brothers when a box addressed to them arrived at the post office smelling like marijuana, officials said.

The Powells face a preliminary hearing later this month.
