AMBRIDGE, Pa. — Police in Ambridge arrested a suspect Wednesday in the robbery of a drugstore.
Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz was the only reporter there as police brought in Mark Davis. Davis is accused of holding up the Rite Aid in Ambridge over the weekend and roughing up the store’s clerk.

When questioned about the charges, Davis told Channel 11 that he has a drug problem.
“I'm sorry for my drug addiction, sorry for the people that I've hurt by the things I've done,” he said.
Surveillance video shows Davis telling the clerk that he has a gun and a knife before he demands all the money from a cash register.
Marcinkiewicz learned that Davis has an extensive criminal background, including robbery and drugs. Police said the most recent robbery could put him away for years if he is convicted.
“With his prior record score and this new charge, he's going to go away for a long time,” said Ambridge Police Chief Jim Mann.
Authorities said they are working on a second arrest in the case since surveillance video of the street outside the Rite Aid showed someone else driving Davis’ getaway vehicle.
While Davis admitted that he’s an addict, he wasn’t as willing to own up to the crime.
“I'm not admitting to anything on TV,” he said.
Amy Marcinkiewicz is talking with police about how they tracked down the suspect, and she will have that part of the story later today on Channel 11 News.
