Duquesne police issue warning after pet python goes missing

DUQUESNE, Pa. — Police in Duquesne are warning residents about a large python that is on the loose.

Authorities said the python is a pet that escaped its owner while the two are out on a walk.

The snake went missing on Wednesday near the 800 block of State Street.

Kids and people with pets are warned to be extra cautious of the snake.

The python is between five feet to seven feet long.

Authorities say the snake is white and anyone who sees it is asked to stay away and call the police.
