NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. — An 86-year-old man was killed and his wife injured after a crash involving a dump truck and a vehicle in Westmoreland County Monday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of Broadway Street and Liberty Avenue in North Huntingdon shortly after 8 a.m.
Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson confirmed the man died and his wife was taken to Forbes Regional Hospital. The extent of the woman’s injuries is not known.
Carson identified the man Vincent Neal, of Irwin.
Route 993 was shut down while first responders were on scene.
