The medical examiner has identified the deceased as Sean Kelly, 35, of Monroeville. His cause of death is pending an autopsy on Sunday morning.

Crews were called to the overpass at Rebecca and Kelly avenues around 8:20 a.m.

Port Authority released the following statement:

"Port Authority was sad to learn of the accident this morning and our thoughts are with the family of the individual involved.  Gulisek Construction was contracted by the Authority to conduct work at several bridges in our system. This East Busway bridge over Kelly Avenue was among those included in the contract. We'll of course do everything possible to assist with investigations of the accident."
