THE LAST TIME
The Knights walked into Acrisure Stadium, they were ranked No. 15 in the country, and Kenny Pickett and the Panthers raced out to a 21-0 lead. Bridging the second and third quarters, UCF scored 31 straight points.
Pickett’s 3-yard touchdown reception from receiver Aaron Matthews with 59 seconds left gave Pitt the final say, however, in a 35-34 triumph that snapped the Knights’ 27-game non-bowl winning streak.
