PITTSBURGH — Family and friends still looking for answers one year after their loved one was murdered gathered Friday to remember him and ask for anyone with information to come forward.
Mark Williams was shot in the head and killed on Bennett Street in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood last summer.

His sister, Tamara Williams, said the most frustrating part about his unsolved murder is believing that people know what happened but not helping police.
“A part of me is gone. I'm lost without my brother,” she said.
Neighbors told Channel that they heard a gunshot in the middle of the night, but investigators didn’t discover Mark Williams’ body until the morning.
Tamara Williams said she found out about her brother’s death of the news. Now, a year later, she is urging people to tell police what they know.
"People know what happened, but they don't want to talk. But if it happens to you, you're going to want to say something,” she said.
While time has passed, Tamara Williams said people still talk about her 48-year-old brother. Mark Williams, who was also known as “Bizz,” was a role model to his nephew and others in the community.
"I just saw a young man who said, “Your brother taught me how to dance,” she said.
Tamara Williams said tips about her brother’s murder can be provided to police anonymously.
