PITTSBURGH — Firefighters had to extinguish flames at a house in Carrick two times in one day.
Allegheny County dispatchers say the emergency crews were first called to the 1900 block of Westmont Street at 5:25 p.m. on Sunday.
Brownsville Road was closed as firefighters responded to the first incident. A large hose was laid across the road.
The second call was made at 8:38 p.m.

During the second call, Channel 11 saw smoke and flames coming from the windows of the building.
The house appeared to be abandoned.
Investigators say no one was injured during either call.
Channel 11 has reached out to Pittsburgh Public Safety for more information and is waiting to hear back.
