Firefighters put out garage fire in Lawrence Co.; pig suffers burns

HICKORY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Firefighters were called to Fairground Road in Hickory Township, Lawrence County, Saturday morning to put out a garage fire.

The fire started shortly after 7:30 a.m. at the garage, which had a pig pen attached to it. At least one pig suffered burns.

Crews were able to prevent flames from spreading to a house.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
