PITTSBURGH,None — Firefighters had to break into a building to rescue a man who said he was trapped inside of a storage locker in Pittsburgh's South Side.
Emergency responders said they received the call around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning from a storage unit at Store Express.
Officials said the man called from inside of the building using a cellphone.
The man told Channel 11's Britny McGraw that he's homeless and went in for warmth when he somehow got locked inside.
Firefighters said they brought in a ladder truck to break out a second-floor window in an effort to try and get to the man. Eventually firefighters were able to open a garage on the ground floor and the man walked out.
The man was not hurt. There is no word on if any charges will be filed.
