Firefighters respond to blaze at Allegheny General Hospital

PITTSBURGH — Channel 11 News has learned that emergency crews responded to a fire at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh's North Side Friday.

Initial reports indicate that the fire started around 1 p.m.

According to an AGH official, the small fire happened on the 20th floor of the south tower. Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly.

There is no word on any injuries.
