TARENTUM, Pa. — Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald has been named in a State Ethics Commission investigation.

The agency is looking at whether votes to allow drilling at Deer Lakes Park were traded for jobs and other favors.

County Councilman Nick Futules and Ed Kress are also part of the inquiry. All three men maintain they did nothing wrong when the drilling was approved back in May.

The latest twist comes from a complaint made by opponents of the drilling.
