PITTSBURGH — The calendar won’t be keeping up with the weather as we head into the weekend. Warm temperatures and gusty winds will make it feel more like late summer, with highs just a few degrees for records.

A little patchy fog early Friday will give way to plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s. Saturday’s temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 70s, just a few degrees from a record 80º set back in 1948.

Winds will pick up through the day Saturday, so leaf raking will be a battle with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Rain showers arrive after sunset Saturday and continue through early Sunday, but there will still be plenty of dry hours to get out and enjoy.
