PITTSBURGH — A former South Allegheny Middle School teacher accused of inappropriate behavior with students was ordered to stand trial at a court appearance Wednesday, during which two of his alleged victims testified.
Both of the alleged victims testified to several inappropriate encounters with McLaughlin on the South Allegheny campus during school hours.

One girl told the judge that Cole McLaughlin, 23, sent her explicit text messages and "French kissed and tongue kissed her," Channel 11's Renee Kaminski reported. The girl was 12 years old at the time.
A 17-year-old high school student said McLaughlin groped her in class and later sent her nude photos, Kaminski said. The girl also said he pulled down her sweatpants and grabbed her buttocks.
McLaughlin was ordered by the judge to have no contact with the alleged victims. A trial date has not been set.
