HERMINIE, Pa. — The Yough baseball coach who posed as a waitress and had a sexting conversation with a 14-year-old boy has agreed with prosecutors to enter a rehab program.

Casey Gilkey, 45, of South Huntingdon, was the coach of the boys junior varsity baseball team at Yough Senior High School when the incident occurred in April.

He posed as a girl named Alexis and exchanged text messages with a 14-year-old player. Investigators said he eventually asked for a nude picture of the boy.

Gilkey and his attorneys said that the conversation was just a joke, and there was no admission to a crime.

He will be under accelerated rehabilitative disposition (ARD) for a maximum of two years.

During that time, he cannot coach baseball, but would be able to once the program is completed.

Gilkey also has the potential of getting the charges expunged, pending completion of the program.
