PITTSBURGH — A Fox Chapel Area School District teacher has been banned from school property following his arrest on criminal charges.
According to a criminal complaint, O'Hara Township police arrested 51-year-old James Hart on June 7.
The O’Hara Township man is accused of taking photographs of a person without consent.
O'Hara Township police said the crimes occurred at a home on Field Club Road when Hart stood on a ladder and watched a naked woman through her bedroom window.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim saw him and when she confronted him, Hart allegedly said, “I don't know what I was doing. I'm very sorry."
The victim also told police that Hart put a spy camera in her bedroom two years ago, the compliant said.

Hart was a teacher at Kerr Elementary School in O'Hara.
District spokeswoman Bonnie Berzonski told Channel 11 News the allegations are not related to any students in the district. She said Hart has been barred from school property since August.
Berzonski released the following statement:
"You have likely heard that a Fox Chapel Area School District teacher from Kerr Elementary School had been arrested. The allegations are not related to any conduct involving Fox Chapel Area School District students. When district administrators were made aware of the formal charges, the teacher was immediately removed and barred from school district property pending the resolution of the criminal case. The trial has been scheduled for February 2016."
"Additionally, once the school district became aware of the nature of the charges, a report was filed with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services ChildLine and with the Pennsylvania Department of Education."
"At this time, we cannot discuss any additional particulars of this situation since it is a personnel matter and a criminal case is pending. Again, these charges do not involve any Fox Chapel Area School District students."
Hart's trial is scheduled for Feb. 22 in Allegheny County Court.
