After nearly a decade on the corner of Friendship and South Pacific Avenue, Friendship Perk and Brew has closed its doors permanently.
The cafe first opened at 300 South Pacific Ave. in 2017 as both a coffee shop and an eatery serving a range of breakfast and lunch items, as well as an events space. Now, the business has announced on its website that it has closed its doors for the last time.
“It is with heavy hearts and immense gratitude that we announce the official closure of Friendship Perk and Brew,” the announcement stated. “Since 2017 this corner has been more than a coffee shop, it has been a second home, a workspace and a community gathering place. To our daily regulars, newcomers and creative collaborators who filled our walls with life, thank you for sharing your mornings, afternoons and countless cups of coffee with us. Above all, thank you to the greater East End community, Friendship, Bloomfield, Garfield, Shadyside and East Liberty, and every visitor near and far. Your unwavering support over the years means the world to our team. Thank you for everything, and we wish you the absolute best in the chapters ahead.”
