Gas leak prompts evacuation of J.C. Penney at Westmoreland Mall

GREENSBURG, Pa. — The J.C. Penney department store at Westmoreland Mall in Greensburg was evacuated after a gas leak Saturday morning, according to authorities.

About 10 people became sick as a result of the leak, which was reported about 10 a.m., dispatchers said. They were treated at the scene.
