PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle will host in-person hiring events to fill 600 open positions across the Pittsburgh region going into the holiday season.
The hiring events are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 at select Giant Eagle and Market District locations. Company recruiters will be on-site to make same-day contingent job offers. Advance registration is not required and walk-in applicants are encouraged to attend.
Open roles span multiple store departments, including experienced bakers, cake decorators, journeyman meat cutters, department leads, deli and prepared foods clerks, cashiers and guest service team members.
Employee benefits offered by the company include flexible scheduling, competitive wages, paid training, advancement opportunities and paid time off.
On Sept. 1, hiring events will take place at sites in the southern, eastern, western and central Pittsburgh areas. Participating stores include Donaldson’s Crossroads Giant Eagle, South Hills Village Market District, South Fayette Giant Eagle, Bridgeville Giant Eagle, McDonald Giant Eagle, Cochran Road Giant Eagle, Rice’s Landing Giant Eagle, Frankstown Road Giant Eagle, Eastgate Giant Eagle, Noblestown Road Giant Eagle, Bloomfield Community Market and Waterworks Market District.
On Sept. 2, the events shift to northern locations. Participating sites include Cranberry Giant Eagle, Wexford Giant Eagle and Clearview Mall Giant Eagle.
