ROSTRAVER, Pa. — The girlfriend of a suspect in a New Year’s Eve road rage killing has been charged by investigators.

Police charged Shaquala Poole with hindering and apprehension, tampering with physical evidence and possession with intent to deliver.

They say she had the alleged murder weapon and cocaine stashed in a duffel bag, about an hour after her boyfriend was arrested for murder.

Her boyfriend, Anthony Hairston, is accused of shooting and killing Holly Vadella in a road rage incident in Rostraver New Year’s Eve night.

“When the incident took place, no one was really aware that there was harm caused to anybody until days later when the police confronted her,” Poole’s defense attorney, Fred Rabner, told Channel 11. “Shaquala is a nice person and she’s thoughtful and kind and a mother in her own right. So when there’s a loss of human life you can imagine that would be devastating to her.”
