Greene Co. man to be sentenced Monday in wife's killing

None — GREENE COUNTY, Pa. -- A Greene County man convicted of killing his estranged wife is scheduled to be sentenced Monday.

A jury convicted Scott Baker, of Nemacolin, of first-degree murder in the Nov. 2009 death of his wife.

Melissa Baker’s body was found by two co-workers after she failed to report for her shift at the Greene County Jail. Police said her throat was slit and she was strangled.

Baker faces a mandatory life sentence in prison for the killing.
